Stitched with Love

The newest challenge at Justrite is to create dimentional flowers on a project.

I chose to use the Stitched with Love set to create my card. Using the patchwork flower stamp, I stamped it 3 times and then cut apart the petals. This allowed me to remove several petals to create a more rounded flower.

I then rolled the edges of each petal and sprayed them with glimmer mist. I used a border from the same set and mounted the flower on the border and then on a heart doily which I also misted. A ribbon tied to the right side kept my card in balance.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Worldwin Double Mates
Pattern paper: Scrappin Stuff
Stamps: Justrite
Ink: Colorbox
Mist: Tattered Angels Copper
Ribbon: Offray
Brad: SEI

Such a pretty flower, and I love your colour scheme. The stripes are a perfect contrast for the softer heart and flower
